Kent Carter of Centerville are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Alyson to Scott David Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland A. Smith of Bel-levue, Bel-levue, Wash. THE MARRIAGE took place April 26, in the Seattle LDS Temple with Pres. F. Arther Kay officiating. The bride wore a dress of white nylon and lace topped by a derby veil. THE COUPLE spent their honeymoon in the Northwest returning to Utah where they will live in Provo where the groom will continue his education educa-tion at BYU. Alyson attended Viewmont High School and graduated from Interlake High School in Redmond, Wash, where she was honored as the top business busi-ness student. She graduated from BYU in secretarial technology tech-nology with an associate degree. de-gree. She is now employed by Mountain Fuel in Salt Lake City. SCOTT graduated from Newport High School in Belle-vue, Belle-vue, Wash, and is now attending attend-ing BYU studying computer aided design. He filled an LDS mission to Fort Lauderdale, Florida Spanish Speaking. Alyson and Scott have both been active in sports, lettering in track. THEY WERE honored at a reception in Bellevue, Wash. April 26 at the home of the groom's parents. They will be further honored at a reception at the home of the bride's parents, pa-rents, 892 S. 700 E. , Centerville Centervil-le Friday , May 6 from 7-9 p.m. Prenuptial parties were given by Trine West, Anita Hurst, Helen Noble, Jo Mad-sen, Mad-sen, Maurine Arbuckle, Judy Christiansen, Barbara Workman, Work-man, Diane Linge, Eula Price, Janice Holt, Michela Lamen, Cheryl Garritsen, Claudia Pruitt and Joy Nelson. |
