Show Reck - larohson Victoria (Vicki) Beck was married last Saturday to Karl Jacobson in Salt Lake's Zion's Lutheran Church. A reception for the pair, well known in Park City skiing circles, was held at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beck of Park City. She is presently a senior at the University of Utah. The groom is the son of Tom Jacobson, of Colorado, and Mrs. Deveaux Clark of Salt Lake. He - recently ;u ; acquired a position wifn Dynastar as representative for Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. "Both of them have been involved in skiing up here forever," said the bride's father. Jacobson, a pro skier for six years, has worked at Jan's Sports and Wolfe's. The bride has coached for 4' the Park City Ski Team and will do so again this winter. She also plays on the local soccer team. The two met at the University about six years ago. After a honeymoon in Holiday Park, near Kamas, 'the1 'couple" plan toive in Park City. i .. ,':- ' j; I- !A Mr. and Mrs. Artist Erickson - Artist Osborne - Haedt Louise Martin Osborne was married to David Kevin Haedt on Sept. 10 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chatham, N.J. The rehearsal dinner was held at The Afton, Florian, N.H., and a reception followed fol-lowed the ceremony at the Fortnightly Club. The bride is a vice-president vice-president in Executive Recruitment Re-cruitment at Chase Manhattan Manhat-tan Bank. She is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. William Thornton Osborne of Chatham, Chat-ham, New Jersey, and the late Janet McKay Osborne. The groom is the son of Robert Victor Haedt and La Von Haedt of Park City. He is a real estate acquisition acquisi-tion representative for Private Pri-vate Banking International at Chase Manhattan Bank. Brought up in Salt Lake, the groom lived in Park City during the mid-1970s while he attended the University of Utah. He also worked at the Timberhaus during that time. He has lived in New -York the past four years. Following a honeymoon in Europe they will make their home in New York City. Sandy King Erickson and Glenn T. Artist, Jr., both residents of Park City, were married Saturday afternoon at the Park City Community Church in a ceremony conducted by Pastor Pas-tor Linda Barnes. A reception recep-tion was held following the wedding in Deer Valley's Snow Park Lodge. Present at the ceremony were about 100 friends and relatives, including the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. William King of Atlanta, Atlan-ta, Georgia, and the parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Artist, Sr., of Shaver Lake, California. The bride is a receptionist at the Park City Health Clinic. The groom is a partner in the Snow Hut Restaurant at the Park City Ski Area. Following a honeymoon honey-moon in Las Vegas, the couple plans to live in the Park City area. |
