Show Fall activities brochure is out The fall brochure of activities activi-ties for the Park City Recreation Department, Community Education and Library will hit the streets Monday listing a plethora of activities from "A" (aerobics (aero-bics to "Y" (yoga) and everything in between, including in-cluding computer science, ski waxing and photography. According to Recreation Department director Steve Haugen, the Brochure is a cooperative effort between the agencies to cut costs and duplication of services. The catalogue which has "Something "Some-thing for everyone" covers programs and events from now until the end of December. Decem-ber. It lists registration fees as well. Among the programs and classes listed in the brochure are: children's dance, conversational con-versational Spanish and auto maintenance. Additionally, special events are outlined in the leaflet including dances, and an "herbal seminar." According to programs supervisor Joy Rasmussen, registration deadlines must be met to insure proper organization of events. The men's basketball deadline for registration and fees is Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. Registration for all classes, class-es, programs and leagues with the Park City Recreation Recrea-tion Department will be held in the Memorial Building, 427 Main Street. Registration forms are available on the back of the activities brochures. bro-chures. The fall and winter hours for the Recreation Department Depart-ment in the Memorial Building Build-ing are Monday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. All programs are open to all residents of Park City. Non-residents can participate partici-pate in all of the Park City programs for an additional fee of $5. For more information call the Recreation Department at 649-9461. |
