Show An otherwise excellent trip To the Editor: We came to Park City for our vacation this year. We found it to be as wonderful a place in the summer as it has always been in the winter. We enjoyed en-joyed fishing, hiking, swimming and windsurfing. We tried some new (to us) restaurants Texas Red's, Adolph's and Sneakers were all great excellent food and good service. ser-vice. The Grub Steak and the Claim-jumper Claim-jumper were fantastic, as always. We look forward every year to eating at those favorites . We thoroughly enjoyed the new look at the Resort and did a lot of nibbling at the Chocolate Factory! We shopped extensively at one boutique in particular, par-ticular, the Mill Haus. Unfortunately, that is the main reason for this letter. They sold me a pair of defective exercise exer-cise tights and then refused to make an exchange. They claimed it wasn't their problem and suggested to complain to the manufacturer. After many letters -and long-distance phone calls, the matter mat-ter is still not resolved. It's a small amount of money, but the principle is important to me. I'm sorry this one frustrating experience has left a bad memory of an otherwise excellent trip. We will be back for ski season, but not to the Mill Haus! TheCraigs San Diego, CA |
