Show Horse show winners The judge for the show was Robin Locke. The announcer an-nouncer was Debra Pack. The arena and public-address public-address system was donated by Ernie Scow. "We really appreciate having that arena," Chambers Cham-bers said. "It was a perfect facility. He (Scow) did an incredible amount of work." Angie Rino of the Hi Ute Ranch won the high-point award at the J.C. Classic open horse show held Saturday Satur-day at Ernie's Arena. The reserve high-point award went to Abbey Peterson of Snyderville. According to Julie Chambers, Cham-bers, promoter of the event, the high-point awards went to those who collected the greatest point totals in events ranging from halter to bareback equitation to western pleasure. Chambers reported that there were about 35 participants partici-pants in the show, the first she has held in the Park City area in four years. "We filled up our classes, that was the main thing," she said. She pointed out that the Utah State Fair was still running on the day of the horse show. Otherwise, she said, the attendance would have been higher. |
