Additionally, Ad-ditionally, two DUI arrests were made as well as one for public intoxication. Park City Police Officers arrested a man in the Alamo bar Friday night. According to one of the Alamo's employees, em-ployees, the suspect had urinated on the floor. When police arrived he was standing stan-ding in the puddle. After the suspect refused to identify himself he was arrested for public intoxication and booked into county jail in Coalville in lieu of $54 bail. On Sept. 17, Park City police arrested an Evanston, Wyoming man for DUI after police observed his vehicle parked on the sidewalk in front of the Memorial 'Building against a light pole. A Fillmore, Utah man was arrested for DUI on Sept. 17, after police witnessed his vehicle wandering across the median several times as he sped up Park Avenue. Lyle Ripley of the Wild-wood Wild-wood Condos on Woodside Avenue reported to the police that sometime during the last two or three weeks someone had taken six Sanyo 19-inch color TV sets from a room at the condominiums. con-dominiums. On Sept. 20, Paul Chabez of Landscape Specialties Inc., an Ogden firm, reported that a $12,500 three-point tractor tiller was missing from the Lakeside Condos where land-Iscaping land-Iscaping work was being done. Kim McClelland of the Racquet Club reported that someone had broken into the apartment of Paul Bennet by breaking a sliding glass door. A stereo and TV were listed as missing items. Seven envelopes filled with cash intended as wedding gifts were stolen from Mike Eberlein's 1964 Chevy on Sept. 18. Eberlein parked the car in Swede Alley behind Mileti's to attend a party in The Club. The amount of money missing was not listed. Sheldon McKenna, security officer for Alpha Beta, reported to Park City police that he apprehended a Park City woman after he observed her putting three lipsticks, valued at $11.85, into in-to her purse and then leaving the store. The suspect was cited by police. In a second shoplifting incident in-cident at Alpha Beta, McKenna apprehended a 65-year-old Park City woman for stealing a comb. She was cited by Park City police. On Sept. 16, Linda McReynolds of Gump and Ayers Real Estate reported items stolen from Gump and Ayers totaling $1140. The items are listed as: A typewriter, a calculator and an adding machine. Leslie Jordan of Park City reported to police on Sept. 16 that a gym bag was stolen from her car. The bag contained con-tained an exercise outfit, swimming suit and other items totaling $170. On Sept. 14, Brian Thompson Thomp-son of Salt Lake City reported report-ed that while his van was parked on Poison Creek Lane, tools valued at $350 were taken from the van. Also on Sept. 14 Projects Unlimited Co. of West Jor dan, Utah reported the theft of three pallets of bricks from Poison Creek Lane. The bricks are valued at $400. Craig Thornton of' Pleasant Grove, Utah reported repor-ted to the police that on Sept. 14 $250 in cash was stolen while he and two friends were staying at the Holiday Inn. According to the report, Thornton said that while the three were sleeping someone entered the room and went through the victim's wallet. Fifth District Court Jacob Blysma of American Fork, Utah pleaded guilty to DUI Sept 21 in Fifth District Court. Blysma was fined $299 and put on one-year probation in addition to losing his driver's license for one year. He was also fined $150 which will go to the state alcohol rehabilitation program. Blysma will have to report to an alcohol probation and parole program. He was ad- : ditionally fined $100 to go the state victim restitution fund. Blysma was arrested for DUI on Aug. 7 in Park City. |
