Show Brigharn Society Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Clive enterta'ned informally Friday evening at their Progressive "500" was enejoyed alter which refreshments were served. Miss Vella Waddoups and Misa Freda Ne'sou entertained Saturday evening in honor of Miss Amelia Moss of Bountliul. Parlor games were enjoyed en-joyed during the evening after Avhich a dainty luncheon was served in the dining din-ing room. A large Easter basket formed the centerpiece for the dining table from which extended ribbon streamers to each guest's place card. Small Easier baskets filled with eggs and chickens were usect as guest favors. fa-vors. Besides the guest of honor those present were Misses Arietta Peterson, Jennie Peterson, Elverla Peterson, Mamie Halverson, Ivy Math-ias, Math-ias, Leah Callahan, Irene King, and Messers Arthur Adams, Arthur Burn-ham, Burn-ham, Royes Peterson, Orval Sackett, Martin Rasmussen, Carl Ward, Leslio Barker, Raymond Ohlseu and Leo Hansely. The hostesses Avero assisted by Dr. and Mrs. Ezra "Waddoups. Miss Edna Graves and Miss Pearl Mathlas entertained Friday evening at the home of F. B. Malhias in honor of Mrs. Dagmar Peterson of Chicago. The decorations were symbolic of Easter with a predominant color scheme of purple and white. The evening eve-ning was spent in playing games and enjoying musical selections and readings, read-ings, after which an oyster supper was served in the dining room. Purple violets vio-lets formed a centerpiece for the dining din-ing table. Besides the guest or honor covers were laid for the following: Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wright, Mrs Blanche Slietfleld, Misses Ivy Mathias, Arietta Ariet-ta Nelson, Jennie Peterson, Elverta Peterson, Ruth Tiorsiey, Vella Waddoups, Wad-doups, Amelia Moss, , Messers Royes Peterson, Deverell Peterson, Roy Chad-wick, Chad-wick, Leo Hansley, Paul Kuhn, Orvat Mathias, Raymond Ohlgen, Leland Larson, Lar-son, Orval Sackett, Martin Rasmussen, Roy Graves and Arthur Burnhain. Miss Lydia Reedcr was the guesL of honor at a parcel shower last Saturday Satur-day evening at the home or Mrs. Thos. H. Tea towels were hemmed by the guests after which Miss Reeder was presented . with many beautiful presents by her. friends. A prettily arranged two course luncheon was served by the hostesses. Mr. William Bott, manager of the John H. Bott and Sons Marble works I at Montpcller, Idaho, was in town during dur-ing the week end vititing relatives and friends and attending to matters of business. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown entertained enter-tained a Sunday evening party at their home on 2nd East street. Easter baskets bas-kets and chicks were used in decorating decora-ting Ihe rooms. Each guest brought their Easter lunch and it was served in true Easter style. A large basket of colored Eastpreggs formed a centerpiece center-piece for the dining table. Miss Lydia Reeder-left Monday for Salt Lake City, where she will be married Friday to Mclvin M:rris of that city. Miss Reedcr is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Reedcr ! of Brigham. She is a graduate of the j Box Elder High School and has been 'acting recently as bookkeeper for the Box Elder News. Sho has a host of friends in this city and was extouslve-ly extouslve-ly entertained prior to her dcparluro for Salt Lake. Mr. Morris Is a returned re-turned soldier and a thrhing business man. They will make their homes in Salt Lake City. A delightful shower was given Friday Fri-day evening at the home or Mrs. Francis Sheffield in honor of Mrs Henry Hen-ry Slander, a recent bride. An Easter scheme was used in the dccoratlcn3 with white Easter lilies as a centerpiece center-piece for the dining table. The evening eve-ning was spent in playing games and listening bo musical selections. A recipe re-cipe book was arranged and each guest present wrote in her favorite recipe to be presented- lo the brlCe. Many beautiful gifts were also received re-ceived after which a two course luncheon lunch-eon was served by Mrs. Sheffield, assisted as-sisted by Mrs. Dan Ppterson.
