Show USED HIS RUM FOR "RHEU1ATIZ" EE TELLS JUDGE Pat Reardon, from the "auld sod," appeared before the city court yesterday morning. He -was . arrested last night at the depot lawn by Detectives Robeil Chambers Cham-bers and A. M. Edwards, charged with being drunk. Pat pleaded not guilty and claimed that the liquor in his possession pos-session was for medicinal purposes. pur-poses. "I have rheumatics, judge, and I rub it on the bottom of my feel," he asserted. He claimed that he had not touched a drop of liquor, which resembled furniture i polish in color and was .alleged by j officers to contain a high percent- j jige of alcohol.
