April 9 Chief Sam Resurrection of the Flathead IinJiau Iribe, which inhabits the former reser-; vation in the west end of the state, re-! cently announced while on a visit hero,1 that he shortly will accept an invita-l Lion from President Wilson to pay the' White House a visit. j When Mr. Wlson was in Ihe city last' fall, during the tour that was cut "short' by his illness, Chief Sam had a chat! with the president. The chief never attended at-tended school, he cannot read or write and he speaks only broken English.'
