Show Foreign Language j Schools a Problem; HILO. Island of Hawaii, T. II., April 2 (By Mail) The Japanese American Ameri-can Citizens' association of Hilo recently re-cently passed a resolution favoring the regulation of Japanese and other foreign for-eign language schools and leaving to the territorial legislature the method of procedure. The foreign language school problem prob-lem has become a center for heated debate during the past few months and both here and in Honolulu American Ameri-can civic, business and educational bodies have pressed for the abolition of such schools, 1 |
