Forty-seven dwellings, to be sold to veterans on the long term payment plan, have been constructed or are under construction by the city of Vancouver, it was announced recently. recent-ly. The provincial government turned oer $300,000 to the city to b0 used as a revolving fund for the construction construc-tion of the homes. The fund was obtained ob-tained by the province from the dominion do-minion government, under, the soldiers sol-diers housing act. Most of the homes are modern, five room dwellings, to cost the former soldier approxMnialely $'3750, including includ-ing thc lot. Payments are made like monthly rental. Soldiers' widows and incapacitated veterans claims were first considered.
