Show Parowan Little League to open play PAROWAN - Parowan's Little League teams have now been organized, and practice has begun with the first game to be played this week. Four teams will compete this year with boys and girls 9 to 12 eligible to play. This will be the first year girls have been chosen on the teams and some of them are showing real talent for the game. The four teams will be as follows - Braves, Jim Beaumont, Alan Burton, Renato Matheson, Mike Jones, Jimmy Robinson, Mike Robinson, Eric Adams, Mitch Pendelton, Wayne Moss, Ray Alton, Terry Horton, Thurston Bryant, Kim Van Sickle, Mike Barkdall and Kenneth Loosley. Manager for the Braves is George Haley, coach is Ted Cooke. Mets - DeVon Lawrence, Cleon Lawrence, Kevin Deppe, Antone Rasmussen, Mary Jeanette Jerome, Brian Orton, Mike Thornton, Scott Thornton, Russell Benson, Darren Benson. Todd Robinson, Chad Robinson. Kelly Orton and Lloyd Baker. Manager, Robert Rasmussen, coach, Phil Miller. Manager Ron Bess, coach Gary Lamoreaux and Curtis Johnson. Everyone is encouraged to support these fine teams by attending the Little League games. The cubs will meet the Braves Thurs. May 29 at 5:45 p.m. at the Little League Park. Russell Shirts will serve as President of the League with Dave Jenson as vice president. |
