Show 4, i . jx3f r - HO REPRESENT GRADUATING CLASS. These students will ! represent the graduating class at Cedar High School at oxer s' cises to be held this evening, Thursday. Chosen by their class members, they and their assignments, include, left to right: Elizabeth Jones, speech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben G. Jones; Lauri Hansen, prayer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin J. Hansen; Scott Werner, traditional senior class president's address, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Griffin; Mike Cannon, prayer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cannon and Bret Smith, speech, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Kay Smith. Cedar High Graduation tonight The 1974-75 school year will come to an end tonight and for members of the Cedar High School Senior Class it will be the conclusion of 12 years of study and a commencement of a new and varied way of life. Commencement exercises are scheduled this evening, Thursday, at 8 p.m. at the Cedar High School auditorium and graduating students will adorn themselves in the traditional Crimson and Gold caps and gowns for the occasion. oc-casion. Representatives of the graduating class have been selected to participate in the exercises. In addition the Cedar High Stage Band will play the march for the graduates and the Acappella choir will sing the school song. Student speakers, representing the senior class will be Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben G. Jones and Bret Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. WrallaceKay Smith. The traditional address and welcome of the senior class president will be given by Scott Werner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Griffin. Prayers will be offered by Lauri Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin J. Hansen and Mike Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cannon. Diplomas representing the successful completion of requirements for graduation will be presented to graduates by Dr. Garth Chalterley, member of the Iron County School Board of Education. Following the commencement exercises many of the class members will board five chartered buses for a' five-day-senior trip to southern California including participation in the Annual Grad Night at Disneyland. |
