Show an H.'i in the state finals to lead the Redman attack. Redmen take third in Golf Tourney Cedar High School Redmen golf team picked up a third place finish in the state competition held recently in Provo. E. J. Corry posted the low-score low-score for the Kedmen carding an 8:s. Other team members and their scores included Scott Stobbe, 85; Kevin Averett, 85; Fred Wright, 8(1 and David Wright 87. Dixie High School captured the state title with a 325 with Jay Don Blake of the Flyers carding a 79 and the medalist honors in a sudden death playoff. In second place was Morgan with a 332. The Redmen total score was 340, according to Coach Bruce Decker. The Redmen finished second in Region Eight this year and wound up with the third place honors in state competition. Throughout the season Fred Wright has led the team and has consistently been the low scorer 'for the Redmen in tournament activities. Corry came through with one of his best efforts with |
