Show PARAGONAH NEWS By Hilma Lamoreaux The Albin Judd family occupied oc-cupied the time in Sacrament meeting on Sun. as a farewell to David Judd who has received a mission call' to Hawaii. David will enter the mission home on June 7th. He is a graduate of Parowan High School and has ; attended College in Cedar City. Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dart Judd of Fredonia, Ariz, and Mrs. Mary Hinton of Hurricane were here for the occasion as was Mrs. Bonnie Judd and two children of Salt Lake City. Miss Louise Davenport was in the Valley View Medical Center from Sun. to Thurs. and was in traction to help correct a back problem. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. McGookin of Long Beach, Calif, arrived here on Fri. for an overnight visit with the Wilson Lund famioy. On Sat. they left for an extended trip back East taking Mrs. Lund with them. The three were headed for . Odenton, Maryland to attend the wedding of their nieceMiss Debbie Smolenski and planned with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robiason. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robb of Salt Lake City also visited at the Robinson home. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux arrived home Fri. night after three weeks in Layton during which time Errol was hospitalized for a week in an Ogden Hospital. Their son-in-law Donald Burton and sons Scott and Kelly came to Paragonah for the weekend. week-end. Mrs. Hannah Robinson was happy to have a visit from friends, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Taylor of Calif, on Tues. afternoon. af-ternoon. The Taylors had been to Lake Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Robinson and daughter, Toni of Ogden arrived here on Fri. to visit until Tues. with various relatives. They brought Sarah's father, Mr. William T. Davenport with them after his stay in Payson and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Shah and daughter, Vicki of Las Vegas arrived here on Sun. to visit with Winnie's relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Berrie and five of their family of Kearns arrived here on Fri. to spend the week-end with Maries' mother, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Other visitors at the Topham home were Mr. and Mrs. George Squire and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Hullinger of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. James Lamoreaux and three children of Layton came to Paragonah Fri. to be with Jims people, the Clark Lamoreaux family for the holiday week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Lister of Satl Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gale of Beaver were Sat. visitors here with their Talbot brothers. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson were happy to have a Sat. visit from cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Denny of Layton. The Denny's were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Ward. Miss Gladys Edwards and her sister, Mrs. Helen Dix of Cedar City were in town on Sun. and were visitors at the Melva Barton Home. Mr. Lowell Edwards of Delta was also a Sun. visitor at the Barton home. Mr. and Mrs. Robin Lamoreaux and children of Orem were holiday weekend visitors here and in Parowan , with the Joe Lamoreaux and Roy Stubbs families. Miss Julie Benson of Beaver joined her cousins for an overnight over-night stay at the Lamoreaux home. tours in various places. All of the Elmo Robinson family visited at the Chester Robiason home the first of last week. This included Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Walker of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ivie and two little girls of Duchesne. They were all in the area for the funeral of Mrs. Monta Warren, Dorothy's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux of Orem and Mrs. Florence Kite of Clearfield arrived here on Sat. to spend the holiday weekend |
