Show Watercolor society slates first annual exhibit The Utah Watercolor Society, a new and growing association of watercolor artists, is now officially of-ficially chartered by the State of Utah. The Society will hold its first Annual Exhibit at Weber State College, Ogden, June 14 through July 12. The exhibit is open to members and non-members, and all interested Utah watercolor artists are cordially invited to submit up to two paintings. The Watercolor Society has commissioned Prof. James MacBeth to design a Best of Show award medal. Any transparent aquamedia on paper will be eligible, maximum size 34" x 42", and must be framed under glass or plastic, complete with hanging wire. Paintings must have been completed within the past two years. All paintings accepted for the exhibit by the Jury will be insured through Weber State College. Paintings may be submitted to Weber State College, Art Building, on June 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and June 5 from 4 pm. to 8 p.m. Entry forms will be available at the Art Building on these dates.
