Show Plans laid for naming County Fair Rodeo Queen and any young ladv desiring training in ' poise, charm and horsemanship is invited to attend. at-tend. Qualified personnel who have worked with Miss Rodeo America and other such contests will assist the girls with modeling, choosing proper attire, at-tire, development of poise and charm and horsemanship. The clinic will begin June 14 at 9 a.m. in the SUSC Music Recital Hall where the girls will receive individual attention and tips on appearance and personality. This session will dismiss at 12 noon. At 1 p.m. all participants are invited to the Iron Rangers Rodeo Arena for help with horsemanship. Mount and tack will be provided, however, if the participant prefer she may bring her own. Rodeo excitement is in the air with the coming of summer, holidays, celebrations and fairs. The prestigious Miss Rodeo Iron County will be chosen the latter part of June and will reign over Iron County activities for the 1975 summer season. This young lady will be a candidate for Miss Rodeo Utah and if awarded that honor will travel to Las Vegas and compete in the Miss Rodeo America Contest. Miss Rodeo Iron County 1975 is under the auspices of the Iron County Fair. Committee members include Bonnie and Kent Stapley, Norm Romberger. Roy Whitlock, Lana Johnson, Vearl and Vonda Beckstead and Grant Messerly. Vyonne Chamberlain is chairman of the contest. Preliminary to the contest, a Rodeo Queen Clinic will be conducted. The date set for this clinic is June 14. All girls of any age are invited to attend. Participation Par-ticipation in the clinic is not limited to Iron County residents |
