Show BLM pays State for Grazing Fees A c..2ck for more than $4.7 million has been sent to the state of Utah Treasurer by the Bureau of Land Management of the U.S. Department of the Interior. The payment also includes proceeds from mineral leasing on lands selected for transfer to state ownership but for which title had not been transferred, grazing fees on public lands and the sale of public lands and materials during fiscal year 1977 which ended September 30. This check of $4,705,340 brings the total of such payments to the state during 1977 to $8,798,618, added Mr. Howard. |
