Show Tina Dotson dies in California Tina Dotson, 75, died in Burbank, Cal, Nov. He was born in Minersville May 5, 1902 to Reuben W. and Sarah Myers DotStm. He was the 12th child in a family of 13. He was a member of the LDS Church. He attended the Beaver County schools, graduating from Minersville High School in 1919 where he was a prominent basketball player. He worked with his father and brothers in the "Dotson and Sons" General Mercantile business, also in the sheep and cattle industry and on the large family farm. He lived in Burbank, Calif, since 1920 where he has been engaged in the building material business. Funeral services were held for him in Burbank, Cal. at the Eckerman-Heisman Eckerman-Heisman Funeral home, with Bishop M. Kent Warner conducting on Monday, Nov. 28. Graveside services were held in Minersville Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Nov. 30 under the direction of the Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. Burial was in the Minersville Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Melinda Dotson Harnish fo San Diego, Calif, a brother, Henry P. Dotson of Cedar City and Mrs. Viola Hambrick of Glendale, Calif., and many nieces and nephews. |
