Show Thelma Evans Clark-Services Thelma Evans Clark, 79, died Nov. 29 at her home in Cedar City of natural causes. She was born April 26, 1898 in Parowan to Fredrick Valtaze and Sarah Jane Page Evans. She married Garfied Merritt Clark Oct. 9, 1919 in Parowan. He died March 2, 1969. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a life-long resident of Parowan and Cedar City. She attended school in Parowan and Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 2 at 1 p. m. at the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mor tuary.' The family prayer at the mortuary was offered by Tracy Blood. Bishop George Fry conducted the services with George Manning giving the opening prayer. Remarks were by Bishop Rett Shakespeare and Albert Clark dedicated the grave. Survivors include sons and daughters: Mrs. Roy (Helen) Sutton, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Muriel and Shirley, both of Glendale, Calif. ; Fredrick of Salt Lake City ; Gary and Conrad, both of Cedar City and Gilbert, Kanab. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Helen Seigfus, North Hollywood, Calif, and Mrs. Morris (Carol) Rasmussen, Parowan. |
