Show Happy Homaking Hints By Janet Weaver This week we'd like to share an old favorite in the line of salads. It's one I'm sure that younger cooks would like to add to their growing recipe collections. CHRISTMAS SALAD 1 pkg lime jello 1 pkg lemmon jello Vi lb. marshmallows V4C salad dressing 1 pkg cherry jello 1C crushed pineapple 6 oz. cream cheese 1 C whipping cream. Dissolve lime jello in 2 cups boiling water. Pour into dish 9 x 12 x 2 and refrigerate. Drain pineapple and set aside. Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 2 C. Heat to boiling point. Remove from heat and stir in lemmon jello and marshmallows. Stir until dissolved. Let mixture partially set. Whip cream cheese until smooth. Add salad dressing and pineapple. Fold into jello mixture. Whip cream until stiff and pour into mixture. Spread over layer of set lime jello and let set until firm. Mix cherry jello according to directions on pkg. and partially set. Pour over other mixture and set until firm. It's festive looking and delicious tasting.
