There was a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings, an interesting in-teresting program and gift exchange. A lighted Christmas tree and table decorations added to the occasion and a good crowd was in attendance. Thursday, today, Dec. 8, the DUP will hold its annual Christmas Party in conjunction con-junction with the regular monthly meeting. It will be held at the home of Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson at 2 p. m. and all daughters are encouraged to attend. There will be some special features including a gift exchange. Elwin Talbot, sons Curtis and Mark of Salt Lake City arrived here Friday for an overnight stay with Elwins parents, Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot. Kerry Judd of Page, Arizona was here last Sunday and Monday to visit with the Albin Judd family. Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Blood of Cedar City were in town Thursday to visit with Lois sister,. Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mr. and Mrs. Blood have just returned home from their church mission to Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson have received word of the birth of two new great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Edwards of Bountiful welcomed a little girl on November 22 and Kenneth and Cindy Cunningham Cun-ningham of Orem became first time parents on Decedmber 2. Their baby was a girl also. Mrs. Ruth Boardman and , her brother-in-law Homer Boardman traveled to Hemet, Calif. on Thanksgiving day to spend the holiday week-end with Ruth's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Basil Rose. |
