Voting District No. 2; Polling Place, Parowan City Library Lounge; Election Officials, Ealine Adams, Nevada Adams, Renee Hulterman, Zone Topham (alternate) Voting District No. 3; Parowan Elementary School; Election Officials, Hazel Dawn Evans, Zona Orton, Nina Taylor, Arlene Adams (alternate) The voting at such special bond election shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the City Council of Parowan to the election officials who, in turn, will furnish them to the qualified voters. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be no special registration of voters for the special bond election, and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election; except that the County Clerk of Iron County will register as provided by law at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holdiays, and except during the ten-day period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who is or will be eighteen years of age or older and who otherwise will be a qualified elector on the day-of day-of this election. The County Clerk will make available, or will cause the registration agents to make available, at the above-described polling places, a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. NOTICE is further given that on November 14, 1977, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after said election, the City Council will meet at its regular meeting place at Twelve O'clock Noon to canvass the returns and declare the results of said election. Oct. 6, 1977 ELECTION NOTICE To all qualified electors of Parowan, Iron County, Utah: Take notice that on the 8th day of November, 1977, a special bond election will be held in the Municipality of Parowan, Iron County, Utah, at the place set out below for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said Municipality the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the City Council of Parowan, Utah be authorized to issue General Obligation Bonds in the amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) for the purpose of defraying all or a portion of the costs of enclosing, repairing and improving the Municipal swimming pool and related facilities, and completing and improving the pavilion in the City Park and other recreation facilities of the City; said Bonds to be due and payable in not to exceed thirty (30) years from date of said Bonds.
