Show Summit By Donna Davenport Mr. Bertrand Dalley spent several days in the Los Angeles, Calif, area where he attended funeral services honoring his sister Mrs. Imogene Dalley Cowdell, 80, wife of the late Ernest Cowdell. Born in Summit Sept. 21, 1897 to Phillip and Mary Jeanette Allen Dalley. Services were held in the Westchester LDS Ward Sept. 29 with Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Inglewoood, Calif. She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Roger (Carol) Vos of Miami, Fla. Also six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One daughter Mrs. Taylor (Marguerite) Walker and two grandchildren preceeded her in death. they visited with Mrs. Austins parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilkin of Pioche, Nev. arrived here Sat. for an overnight stay with Mrs. Helen Matheson. Sunday, Mrs. Matheson joined them for a days stay in St. George. Mrs. Rodger Austin was in New Harmony during the week to visit her grandfather, grand-father, Mr. Ashby Pace. Also an aunt, Camilla Pace and a sister and family, the Robert Goodwins. Mr. Delos Dalton arrived home Sunday evening from Dallas, Texas where he was employed for three weeks. Bishop and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley traveled to Salt Lake City Friday to attend LDS General Conference. Mrs. Richard Johnson, Season and Ryan and Mrs. Minnie Dalley spent Thursday in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife spent the week in St. George doing temple work. They also visited a granddaughter Miss Heidi Boardman, a student at Dixie College. Mr. Kevin Porter spent some time here during the week with his sister and family, the Darryl Davenports. He is a student at SUSC from Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and family members mem-bers traveled to Logan to see daughter DeAnn a student at Utah State University and Provo where they visited son Steve who is attending school there. Mr. David Dalley spent part of the week in Salt Lake City on business. Mr. Dalley visited with his sisters and family members while there. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Worley and two children of Louisiana spent part of the week visiting here with Sherry's aunt Mrs. Helen Matheson. They made the trip to Utah to see Sherry's step-mother, Mrs. Bernice Burns of Parowan who is hospitalized in a Salt Lake 1 City hospital. Mr. Ivan Dalley traveled to Twin Falls, Idaho last weekend to visit his daughter and family, the Ken Astons and to bring his wife home after a week's stay where she assisted in the care of the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley spent most of this week in Fillmore with another daughter and family, the Scott Munsons. Mrs. Helen Matheson and Mrs. Rodger Austin spent one day this week in St. George where |
