Show Sadie Hawkins Week at CHS It was Sadie Hawkins Week at Cedar High School this past week and the week-long week-long event was sponsored by the Girls' and Boys' Organizations. Events included a Sadie Hawkins Assembly to open the event and on Friday the movie, "Bye, Bye Birdie," was shown to students and faculty. The dance was staged Saturday evening and a variety of booths were set up including a dart throw, bobbing for apples, a marriage booth, etc. First place honors in the contest for those best dressed to represent Daisy Mae and Little Abner went to Sue Ann Adams and Gary Olds. Second place went to Kelli Carter and Brad Jackson with Lana Smith and Drew Hansen placing third. Officers of the sponsoring Girls' Organization are: Kim Williams, president; Judi Bennett, vice j president; Carolyn Chamberlain, secretary. President of the Boys' f Organization is Jay Sand- berg. Other officers are I Nathan Johnson, vice president and Matt Hahne, j secretary. |
