Show Little League Football hits Parowan f up score with the well matched teams Doug Hermanson ran for two more TD's for the Maroon side and Kelly Orton and J Travis Griffiths each made a j TD in overtime. Final score was 24 24. These young men have worked hard and are learning the fine fun- dimentals of football. Next t year they hope to start I j earlier and get into a I League. j j H PAROWAN Some exciting ex-citing football was seen by fans last week when the Parowan Little League Football team held a scrimmage game. Coaches Paul Williamson and Curtis Mitchell divided the boys into two teams. The Gold team consisted of Scott Thornton, Captain; Eric Adams, Wade Adams, Russell Benson, Fred Baker, Travis Griffiths, Kelly Orton, Neil Oreton, Mike Rogerson, Chad Robinson, T. J. Borden, John Snow, Mitch Pendleton. The maroon team named Robbie Stevens as Captain with team members Darren Benson, MikeBarkdull, Alan Burton, J. D. Emery, James Heap, Dan Evans, Doug Hermanson, R enato Matheson, Jeff Patterson, Doug Rogerson, Jim Rowley and Jeff Galley. The Gold team was the first to score with Kelly Orton running for a TD. Kelly was also responsible for another TD with the help of a tough offensive line. The Maroon team had TD's by Robbie Stevens and Doug Hermanson. The gun sounded the end of regular play with a 12 to 12 tied up score. The game then went into two exciting overtimes and still came out with a tied |
