Show Paulist Mission Set For Catholic ChurchMayl0to24 A Paulist Mission will be conducted con-ducted by the Reverend John M. Donelon, C.S.P. of the Paulist Mission Unit of Layton, Utah, at Christ the King Church, Cedar City. It will begin on Sunday, May 10 and close two weeks later la-ter on May 24, according to an announcement by Father Everett Ever-ett R. Harman, Pastor of Christ the King Church. All meetings will be open to the public and the second weeK Willi Be especially devoted to questions and answers an-swers for the benefit, of non-catholics. non-catholics. During the mission there will I be two masses dally, at 7 a. m. and 12 noon. Each mass will be followed by a brief instruction. Evening services will be at 7:30 daily, and will consist of special prayers, question box period, a sermon and benediction. On Sunday Sun-day morning, May 24, the mission mis-sion will come to Its solemn close with the bestowal of the Papal Blessing. One of the interesting feature of the Paulist Mission Is the Question Box. Each evening the missionary will answer questions that have been place in the question boy. All are invited 'to submit questions on matters of religion and all questions will be given courteous answers. Father Harman cordially invites in-vites everyone to attend the mission mis-sion services and to bring your friends with you. Questions may be deposited in the question box ahead of time that they can be answered at the next meeting. Father Harman states that there is a great deal of friendly interest inter-est in religion In Cedar City founded upon the good will that exists In the community toward one's neighbor. |
