Show Seminary Commencement Exercises Speaker, Program Announced, 25 Students Graduate The annual commencement exercises ex-ercises of the Parowan LDS Seminary Sem-inary will be held Sunday. May 24 at 8 p. m., It is announced by Franklin Fitts, principal. At this time 25 students will receive diplomas at the han lit of Faro-wan Faro-wan Stake President Howard D. Knight. The theme chosen by the graduating class for the exercises will be "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father In Heaven is perfect." Class members were also instrumental in drawing up the program which will be given during the exercises. The address to the graduates will be delivered by Ivan Barret, Bar-ret, Professor of Religion at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University and a member ot the BYU stake presidency. presi-dency. Mr. Barrett has been a popular speaker throughout the. LDS Church education system, and his presence .here will add much to the graduation program.! Student speakers to the theme' of the evening will be Omah Lee Smith, Raymond Lowe, Linda Knight, David Topham. and Sherry Dawn Evans. Bill Wright, Seminary president, will give the welcoming talk. Special musical numbers will be a vocal solo by. Kenyon Clark, a piano solo by Lyla Joy Halterman and a vocal trio by Bonnie May Batt, Brenda K. Bentley and Darlene Thornton. Prayers will be given by Donald Don-ald Rowley and Luckie Felstead, respectively and Itha Mortensen will be at the cgan for prelude and postlude music. Principal Fitts will present the graduates and tal.'t briefly during dur-ing the program. Members of the graduating class are: Bonnie Batt, June Decker, Luckie Felstead, Decker Orton, Bill Wright, John Lister, Errol M. Orton, Roger Burt, Thomas Evans, Sherry Dawn Evans, Lyla Halterman, Omah Lee Smith.
