They were met there by Mr. and Mrs. Gyde Greg-orson Greg-orson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Williams uncle and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Loren S. Hlgbee of Re-dondo Re-dondo Bench, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves and Jennie Williams visited In Sa. George last week with their father, fa-ther, W. C Reeves, at the .est home. Chesley Williams, Joe Gubler and Bob Cameiius attended te dance at the Junior. High in Cedar Ce-dar CUy. The Daughters of Utah Plo-ners Plo-ners held their monthly meeting meet-ing at the home of Mrs. Opal Williams. Visitors here from Henderson, Nev, were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Christensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams and children. chil-dren. Amanda Williams visited last week In New Harmony with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince. Mrs. Eva Hlgbee and Mrs. Mar-le Mar-le Gardner and daughter Louise of St George visited one day last week with Mrs. Preston Williams. Wil-liams. Mrs. Norma Houser and son Stephen of Page, Ariz, spent a few days here last week with her parents, Mr. ad Mrs. Waldo Reeves. Her brother Larry took her home Saturday. They were accompanied by Miss Betty naw-kins. B. N. Williams made the trip to Salt Lake City with the Cedar City High School band. Chesley Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams, took part in the Junior Hltfh School drama "Quit Your Kidding," at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Blackburn. Black-burn. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Bladen and children of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kossen of Henderson spent Sunday visiting visit-ing t the Preston Williams home. While 1- town they all visited with their uncle, Ray Williams, Wil-liams, on his birthday. Mr. Williams Wil-liams has been bedfast for a lontf time. Several of the mothers of students stu-dents who attend the Cedar City High School, took part In the assembly as-sembly at school last week. Those taking part were Opal Williams, Hazel Davles, Nedra Ence. Carma Williams, Alva Batty, Bat-ty, Irene Pollock and Fonda Beckstead. t Primary conference was held here Sunday evening. Michael Williams attended the track meet at Milford with the Cedar High Redmen. Mrs. Christine Anderson of St. George spent a day or so here with her sister. Mrs. Lynn Williams. Wil-liams. Last Thursday a group of 10, 11 and 12-year-old girls organized organ-ized a 4-H Club here, to be called call-ed 'The Cloverettes.' Mabel Mer-rell, Mer-rell, Iron County home agent, assisted as-sisted In the organization of the club. Theme for the summer will be "Have Fun with Cooking." Officers elected were, president, Verlyn Beckstead; vice president, Elaine Batty; secretary, Patsy Livermore; recreation leader, Dana Da-na Lynn Williams; song leader, Colleen Christensen, and reporter, report-er, Mary Bauer. The girls will meet at the home of Mrs. Colleen Col-leen Williams each Thursday. |
