Show Recital to Feature Winterrose, Christiansen May 14 Thursday, May 14, at the College Col-lege of Southern Utah auditorium auditor-ium a piano-vocal recital will be presented featuring Christine Winterrose, popular Cedar City soprano, and Richard Christiansen, Christian-sen, at the plana Recital, which Is open to the nubile, will beein at 8 p. m. and Is being presented by Dr. and Mrs. Blaine Johnson of the CSU music faculty. An outstanding program has been arranged for the evening. Mr. Christiansen will, render Beethoven's "Sonata, Opus 31, No. 2"; "Concerto for Piano." by Schumann, assister by Mrs. Johnson; John-son; the "Hunting Song." by Mendelssohn and "Prelude No. 15 and No. 16 In BAaf by Shostakovich. Shosta-kovich. Mrs. Winterrose will sing numbers num-bers by Bach, Martini and Grieg. Including "Art Thou With Me," "Plaistr d Amour," and "The Dreamer." In addition she will render "Sempre Libera" from the opera La Travlata by Verdi, and The Daisies," by Barber; "The Rose Leaves," by Hadley and ."Nlco-lette," ."Nlco-lette," by Ravel. The program promises to be an evening of outstanding music mu-sic by two of Cedar City's leading lead-ing musicians. The public Is cordially Invited Invit-ed to attend. - - - |
