Show Local Bank Presents Aajicultural Scholarship at CSU A recent action by the board of directors of the State Bank of Southern Utah created a new scholarship in agriculture economics econ-omics for the College of Southern Utah In Cedar City. Warren II. Bulloch Is president of the bank and the funds for a full year tuition was presented to Dr. Royden C Braithwaite, director di-rector of CSU and Prof. D. C. Schmutz, chairman of the division divi-sion of Agriculture. Mr. Schmutz Indicated the Agriculture Council at CSU appreciated the Interest and the support of the State Bank of Southern Utah In creating thl new scholarship. 'We and mrit educational Institutions and businesses bus-inesses recognize the need for trained men In the business of agricultural production, dlstribu-l tlon and processing of farm foods and fibers," said Mr. Schmutz. The award will be made to some student now studying on the campus at the annual award and honors convocation May 21, said Mr. Schmutz. |
