Show Redmen Squad Meets BY High in State Quarter Finals Cedar High School Redmen baseball team, this afternoon, Thursday, meets BY iligh School of Provo In the State semi-finals. Redmen captured the Region Ten championship with a four win and no loss record. BY High is the champion of Region Four. In a warmup to the quarterfinal quarter-final game, the Redmen entertained enter-tained South Sevier In Cedar City Monday evening and defeated that team 22 to 0. South Sevier is the quarterflnalist from Region Re-gion Nine. Gary Anderson, a right hand-er, hand-er, and Steve Cahoon, a left hander, shared mound duties for the Redmen against South Sevier Se-vier and turned in a no-hit performance. per-formance. Anderson worked four innings and struck out 10 men. Cahoon, only a sophomore, hurled hurl-ed three Innings and struck out six men, but allowed two walks and hit one batter only South Sevier men to get on base. Redmen collected only 10 hits, led by Lory Mlsel, who pounded out a home run to drive in two of the 22 runs. Errors plagued the visiting team from Monroe.
