Beta Sigma Ladies Hear Discussion By Iranian Student i One of the most outstanding lessons of the year was presented during the last meeting of Beta Sigma Phi. Lesson chairman, Georgi.i Prisbrey, invited Mr. Bi-jan Bi-jan Soadatmand of Iran to give a lecture on his country and the Iranian people. Mr. Soadatmand, who Is actually a First Lieutenant Lieuten-ant in the Iranian Army, Is currently cur-rently living in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Osborne. He is a student at the College of Southern Utah majoring in electrical elec-trical engineering. The lesson which turned out to be an informal presentation on a question and answer basis, covered cov-ered various aspects of Iran including in-cluding the economy, geography, political background, religious background and such personal information as the role of women in family life. Hostess for the March 26th event was Carol Brown. Those in attendance were Georgia Prisbrey, Pris-brey, LaRue Gardner, Virginia Webster, Lois Higbee, Jean Peterson, Peter-son, Carol Brown, Garfae Mid-dleton, Mid-dleton, Shirley Haycock and Jerri Jer-ri Bulloch.
