Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Arriving here for the Easter holiday were Mr. and Mrs. Don-nie Don-nie Roberts of Los Angeles, Calif. During their four-day stay they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Les-ter Roberts. While they were in Cedar City, Donnie and his wife, Kay, visited with Kay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Chappell, who were here with their family from Salt Lake City. Visiting in Cedar City from from Phoenix, Ariz., have been Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brower, Charlie Char-lie Rouse and Oleen Davis. They were guests at the Dee Davis home while in this area. During their stay they also visited with other members of the Davis family fa-mily and with friends. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fern-leigh Fern-leigh Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Rudgar Beatty have been Lois and Lamond Beatty and children from Salt Lake City. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Nelson over the Easter week end were Mrs. Nelson's parents of Loa, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mathis, her brother-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Chappell and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Durfey and their children of Salt Lake City. Company of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Roberts have been their son,! Gail, and daughter-in-law, Hazel, of Salt Lake City, and their son, Wayne, and daughter-in-law, Dale, of Inglewood, California. Recent guests at the home of Ivlr. ttiiu Iviaa. viouate wbuOtiiC were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smith and family of Las Vegas. Jerry Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Green, is back home after completing six months of training with the National Guard. He was stationed at Fort Ord, Calif., and Fort Sill, Okla., during dur-ing the six month period. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mackel-prang Mackel-prang their daughter, Connie, are currently visiting in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Jess Rowley and with Mrs. Roxie Stephens. Spending the Easter holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gillies were Margaret's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Joseph of Beaver. The two families enjoyed a brief holiday together in Las Vegas. Hostess Monday evening for members of her Pinochle club was Lana Smith, with 12 members mem-bers present. Recipients of the high score prizes were Toni Higbee, Hig-bee, Rowena Ashdown, LaRue Perkins and Barbara Knight. Miss Rosie Graff has recently made a trip to Arizona where she visited with her sister, Jerri, and family in Mesa. Miss Graff will soon be making her home in Ari-zona Ari-zona because of health reasons. |
