Show Final Rites Accorded Alma F. Stubbs, 71 Alma Frederick Stubbs, 71, retired re-tired Parowan livestock man and farmer, died early Monday morning morn-ing at the Valley View Medical Center In Cedar City, of a heart attack. Mr. Stubbs was born In Parowan, Paro-wan, Oct. 6, 1892, a son of Wm. M. and Isabelle Gavin Stubbs, and has resided here all of his life. He was married to Bessie Mick-elson Mick-elson of this city on April 6, 1923 at St. George, Utah and has engaged en-gaged in the livestock and farm-industry farm-industry for 50 years. lie was a veteran of World War I and was an active member of Parowan Post No. 20 of the American Legion. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow, of Parowan, four sons and one daughter, Wm. M., Joseph M, and Bobbie Stubbs, Parowan; Donald M. Stubbs and Mrs. Nolan (Sue) Bess, both of Kearns, Utah. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Maude Lyman, Bakersfleld, Calif. Funeral service were held on Wednesday afternoon In the Parowan Par-owan First-Second Ward chapel with Bishop Rupert Hulet of the Second Ward conducting. Burial took place in the Parowan City cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuaiy. |
