Show ENOCH AND MID VALLEY NEWS NOTES Mn. Dm Wllclcen Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Anderson and three of their children visited here over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. David Murie. They also visited with other members of the family who were visiting here. Mrs. Anderson is remaining remain-ing here for a few days to be with her mother and father. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson from Las Vegas, Nev., visitpd here and in Parowan over the Easter week end. They visited w'tli I.Irs. Anderson's parents, Mr. a id Mrs. T. Taylor in Parowan nd here with Mr. Anderson's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Dav-id Murie. Miss Virginia Bryant visited here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Bryant over the week end. Also home from National Na-tional Guard training is their son, Fernlee Bryant. Leaving our community this week for a new home in Salt Lake City are Mr. and Mrs. Clark Maxwell and their small son, Douglas. V'- are reluctant to see them go we wish t:im well lu their ne endeavors Mrs. Loleen Grlmshaw suffered an accident Saturday which left her with two broken fingers on a lot of pain but is improving Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilcken and family on Saturday and Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Hal Wilcox and family from Clearfield. Mr. Wilcox is Mrs. Wilcken's brother. They left Monday Mon-day morning for points south for a vacation trip. Raymond Christiansen entered the Valley View Medical Center Wednesday afternoon in preparation prepara-tion for surgery to be performed Thursday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson of Alamo, Nev., visited here with Mr. and Mrs. David Murie. They brought with them their two sons, Steven and Roland Lee. Roland Lee was to undergo surgery sur-gery at the Valley View Medical Cen Monday morning. He is to leave on a mission after he has recuperated. Visiting over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Oley Hatch and family from Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. James Clark are here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw and family. Mrs. Clark is the former Lyn Grimshaw. Mr. Clark is in the 'service. 1 Mr and Mrs C.lon P.arfiolH and children, Myra and Charles, spent part of the week end visiting visit-ing in Salt Lake City. Home from Brigham Young University with his family and friends was Leon Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell. Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Murie from Milford visited here recently with Mr. Murie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Murie. A special program and social was held last Wednesday to commemorate com-memorate the birthday anniversary anniver-sary of the Relief Society Organization. Organi-zation. Mrs. Barbara Adams of Parowan gave history of the Relief Society and Mrs. Maurine Grimshaw aded comments to this. A narrative skit was given by members of the Ward depicting the History of Literature in America. Ame-rica. Refreshments were then served. Ward Conference was held in the Enoch Ward on Saturday night and Sunday. The Saturday night meeting was for all officers offi-cers and teachers of the auxiliary auxilia-ry organizations and the Sunday meetings were for everyone. 1 |
