Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS I George A. Berry died March 21 at the Iron County Hospital in Cedar City after a prolonged Illness. Ill-ness. Funeral services were held in Kanarra Ward chapel March 24, and burial was In the Kanar ra cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary-Mr. Mortuary-Mr. and Mrs. Harris Gubler, Joe and Jlmmle were week end visitors visi-tors in Salt Lake City. There are several new cases of mumps here among the children. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams the last week were Mrs. Ashby Pace and Camilla Camil-la Prince of New Harmony, James Schoenfield of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Sam PoMork of Tro. pic, Emery Pollock of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Walker Walk-er and baby of Cedar City, Eva Williams and baby of Boulder City, Nev, Mrs. Cora Stuckl, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stucki and Children Chil-dren of Cedar City. Mrs. Maude Robinson visited in Orem and Layton, Utah with some of her children. Visiting here over the wek end were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Christen-sen Christen-sen and sons, and Mrs. Mauna Williams and children of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Davis of Cedar City visited here with relatives rela-tives one evening last week. Many friends and relatives from surrounding towns were here to attend the funeral for George A. Berry. Stake officers Clara Jones and Zelma Lunt of Cedar City attended at-tended Relief Society meeting here Tuesday. Thomas Piatt and his daughter daugh-ter and her husband of Canada visited at the home of Mlna Piatt The MIA preparation meeting was held Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Es-plln. |
