Show Zion Trek Beckons CSU Sophs, Upper Classes The annual College of Southern South-ern Utah trek to Zion National Park for sophomores and upper classmen has beeh set for Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, with the students leaving the campus at noon Friday for the popular excursion Into the park. Students of Weber College will join with those from C S U for the event this year and there is a possibility that it may become a three-school affair with Dixie College students joining in the festivities. The program calls for recrea tion activities Friday afternoon, and a campflre supper in the evening. After the meal the group will go to Springdale for dancing danc-ing in the Springdale Ward recreation rec-reation hall. The students will sleep 'under the stars" Friday night, 'unless bad weather makes this impos-: impos-: sible. Arrangements have been made for the use of the Zion Lodge If bad weather makes camping out inadvisable. Saturday morning will again be devoted to recreational activities, activi-ties, with the Weber College stu- dents preparing the noon meal. A program will be presented at this time, with each school providing pro-viding numbers.
