Show Casting Completed For Forthcoming Drama Production A cast has been chosen and rehearsals are underway on the next drama department production pro-duction at College of Southern Utah, it was announced today by Prof. Richard M. Rowley, director dir-ector of the drama. A three-act comedy, "Arsenic and Old Lace" has been chosen for presentation' May 20-21. The play, which has gained widespread wide-spread popularity since its Broadway Broad-way success, was written by Joseph Kesselring, and deals with a slightly crazy family by the name of Brewster. ' Because the play contains only three female roles, all of the women's parts have been double cast, Professor Rowley said. As the two old maid 'aunts with a penchant for "mixing things such as arsenic and wine are Betty Taylor, Cedar City, and Jane Okerlund, Loa, as Aby; Carol Williams, Cedar City, and Mona Rae Hall, Hurricane, as Martha. As Elaine will be Larue La-rue Dalley, Summit, and Sonya Nielson, Monroe. Men in the cast are: Clark Ronnow, Panaca, Nevada; Kel-land Kel-land Terry, Rockville; Stanley Ivie, Salina; Lloyd DeMille, Scott Jones and John Davis, Cedar Ce-dar City; Keith Tattersall, Beaver; Bea-ver; Steve Rozelle, Sprlngdale; Chester Thomas, Hurricane; Dale Workman, Delta; and Gordon Reid, Panguitch. |
