Show KAMRRRVILLE Hannah A. Davis Sunday School conference was held here last Sunday with several sev-eral members of the stake Sunday Sun-day School board from Cedar City in attendance. Several of our people received certificates from the teacher training class which was conducted here by Mary McMillan Mc-Millan of Cedar City during the winter. Mr. Spaekman, teacher in the seminary in Cedar City, was the speaker in sacrament meeting. Mr. Hellend, music instructor in-structor in the Cedar High School, gave a saxophone solo, accompanied accom-panied on the piano by Boyd Reeves. Mrs. Verda Smith has returned home from the Iron County hospital hos-pital where she underwent surgery sur-gery recently. There- are a few cases of mumps here among the children. Mrs. Mignon Malm and daughter daugh-ter Debra, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith. She was accompanied back by her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Smith. Mrs. Marva Prince and children chil-dren of New Harmony spent Sunday Sun-day here with her mother, Mrs. Hannah Davis. Fed Williams, son of Mrs. Alton Al-ton Ford, was in the Iron County Coun-ty hospital for a few days receiving re-ceiving medical care. Mrs. Irene Pollock entertained a group of youngsters at a weenie wee-nie roast in honor of her daughter, daugh-ter, Gayle, on her 12th birthday. The first and second grade school children went to Cedar City and got their polio shots on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury and children, and La Wayne Isom of Henderson, Nev. were here over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Birch of Price visited here with Mrs. Birch's people, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hen-ry Pollock. |
