Show Schedule Given For Annual Music Festival The schedule of events for the annual Region Six Music Festival which will be held In Parowan on Saturday, May 7, has been announced an-nounced by LaNolr Asay of the Parowan High School, who Is in charge of the affair. Musical groups from the high schools of Region Six and the high school from Ely, Nev. will gather here on that day for the big regional event. Members of all the music organizations or-ganizations who will take part in the contest work during the day, will register at the Parowan High School building at 8 a. m. and will receive a specially designed de-signed Identification badge to wear throughout the day. Contest work will begin at 9 a. m. and the time schedule for each group of organizations to perform and the person who will judge the division are as follows. BANDS, Ormon R. Weight, judge; Parowan 9 a. m., Hurrl- , cane 10 a. m., Kanab 11 a. m., j Valley 1 p. m., Delta 2 p. m., , Cedar Junior 3 p. m. and Ely 4 p. m. Bands, Dr. Clair Johnson, judge; Beaver 9 a. m., Woodwaid 10 a. m. Milford 11 a. m., Cedar 1 p. m., Dixie 2 p. m. and Millard Mil-lard 3 p. m. ORCHESTRAS: Dr. N. W. The massed band parade will start soon after 4 p. m. with each band allowed five minutes for maneuvering. This event will take place either on the athletic field or one of the streets adjacent adja-cent to the high school. Contest events will be held in ' the High School gym and auditorium, audi-torium, the First-Second Ward and the Third Ward chapels. Refreshments to accommodate the large number of students and visitors who will be in Parowan lor the festival will be available In three locations: at the high school H. E. department, at the Ttellef Society rooms in the First-Second First-Second Ward chapel and at the Ham building. The following organizations or-ganizations have charge of this department: The three Parowan Wards, Parowan Stake Relief Society, So-ciety, Daughters of Utah Pioneers and the Legion Auxiliary. |
