Show Local Couple Recites Wedding Vows, Honeymoon in Vegas A quiet marriage ceremony performed by Bishop James Hey-wood Hey-wood of the Cedar Fifth ward Wednesday evening, Feb. 11, united Mrs. Sylvia Rosenberg and Steve Asmus, both well known local residents. The ceremony was performed at the hme of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Esmeier, in the presence of members of the immediate families and close friends. Mrs. Dee Woolsey was matron of honor hon-or and Roland Esplin stood as best man. A quiet social followed the ceremony after which the couple left for a short honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, New ' Mr. Asmus, who is well known as manager of the Thornton Coffee Cof-fee shop, Is an active civic worker. work-er. At present he is esteemed leading knight in the Cedar City Elks lodge and is a past president presi-dent of the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce, in which organization he has been very active. Mrs. Asmus has been employed at the Coffee Shop for some time. |
