Show Utah Hereford Bull j Sale Draws Top Breeders to City Everything is in readiness for the Hereford Bull sale to be conducted con-ducted Friday, Feb. 20, at the Branch Agricultural college campus cam-pus by the Utah Hereford Association, Asso-ciation, when at least 40 head of fine range bulls will be sold at public auction. Activities will begin tonight. Thursday, with a banquet for members of the Utah Hereford Association, the Southern Utah Livestock Show committee and the Escalante Cattle Association co-sponsors of the annual sale Judging of the bulls consigned to the sale will begin at 9 a. m In the B A C fieldhouse. Fol lowing the judging a sifting committee com-mittee headed by Prof. George Henderson of the Utah State Agricultural Ag-ricultural college, will sift the bulls consigned, assuring buyers that only top grade bulls will be sold at the auction. The actual sale of the animals will start at 12:30 p. m. and continue con-tinue until all bulls have been auctioned to breeders and ranchers ranch-ers of this area. Buyers and consignors will gather at the college for luncheon lunch-eon just prior to the opening of the sale. |
