Show Religious Film Shown At Monday Evening Kiwanis Meet Rev. Wrn. Burton, representing the Support of Churches committee commit-tee of the Cedar City Kiwanis club entertained the members with a film at the regular Monday Mon-day evening meeting of the civic organization. The story, filmed in Hollywood, stressed the need for Christians to band together in this present day world of stress and particularly particu-larly stressed the need for brotherly bro-therly love. The story was of the life of a Korean veteran who returned to his community, his unrest and uncertainty, and his eventual "finding of himself" within his church. Harry Ahlstrom, vice president of the Kiwanians presided over the meeting, while President Therol McArthur discussed the recent visitation of the Cedar City group to Richfield, Thursday, Feb. 12. Monday evening, Feb. 23 the Kiwanis club will hold its regular reg-ular meeting at El Escalante hotel. ho-tel. Officers state, however, that those wishing to attend the First Ward birthday party, scheduled that same evening, w ill be credited credit-ed with an attendance. |
