Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NOTES Elton Richardson, accompanied by his five oldest children, Flor-iene, Flor-iene, Marilyn, Carol, Elva, and Zola Mae, left Wednesday to attend at-tend a Richardson reunion at Mesa, Ariz. Most of the adult members of the ward attended stake conference confer-ence at Parowan Sunday. The Parowan Stake Old Folks were entertained at a progiam and dinner Wednesday afternoon with several of the Enoch ward people in attendance.. Bryant Anderson of Bountiful spent two evenings here and in Cedar City this week. He was in this area with the Union Pacific agricultural demonstration train. Mrs. Dick Nelson spent three days in Salt Lake City attending attend-ing the Utah Poultry Growers convention. LaMar Matheson lost part of his little finger, and the other fingers on his hand were badly injured in an accident this week. Thirty-three married people from Enoch attended the Stake excursion to the temple in St. George last week. In conjunction with the Relief Society meeting Tuesday Miss Fern Minson, home demonstra. tion agent, snowed slides on a "Make it yourself with socks" project. It was a very interesting meeting. Word has been received that David Anderson has arrived in Germany with his military unit. Since reaching his European base he has contacted Floyd Matheson, Mathe-son, who has been serving there for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson have been notified that their son Cleon has sailed for overseas duty. Mr. and Mrs. Millard Hal-terman Hal-terman have also received word that their son Frank, sailed at the same time. |
