Show i CLUB NOTES i Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith was 'hostess Tuesday evening to the ! ladies of her club. Luncheon was ! served to eight members followed by an evening of bridge. Mrs. iPaul Stewart, Mrs. Criss Mason. Jr., and Mrs. L. R. McConncll wore awarded prizes. I j The Cedar City Shrine club met I Monday evening for its regular 'meeting with President Fred La- Frentz presiding. The date of March 21 was set for the public-card public-card party. Ladies of the Canasta club were the guests of Mrs. Harry Rhodes Thursday afternoon. Mrs. M. M. Rasmussen was a special guest to the club. Mrs. Milton Sevy entertained the members of her club Monday evening at her home at luncheon lunch-eon and bridge. Mrs. Evan Dob-son Dob-son was a special guest. Prizes were awarded Mrs. John Row-berry Row-berry and Mrs. Conway Parry. The Twinkler's club met Monday Mon-day evening at the home of Mrs. H. M. Endsley, assisted by Mrs. Louise Caruthers and Mrs. Alice Geiger as co-hostesses. Following the meeting a delightful evening eve-ning was enjoyed in playing cards. Mrs. Carl Wasmuth was awarded a door prize. A tasty luncheon was served to 16 members mem-bers by the hostesses of the month. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mace were pleasantly surprised Friday evening when a group of friendt dropped in with a prepared dinner din-ner tp honor the couple and celebrate cele-brate their wedding anniversary. Taking part in the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Paulson, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Heaton, Mr. and Mrs. Criss Mason, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Strate, Mr. and Mrs Glenn White, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Box. .The evening was spent in playing bridge. Mr. and Mrs. Mace were presented with a gift from the group in observance observ-ance of their anniversary. Ladies of the Wednesday club were the guests of Mrs. S. W. Heyborne fT an evening of social entertainment and bridge. Special Spe-cial guests were Mrs. Dee Arthur, Mrs. Raymond Lee, and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Higbee. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Arthur, Mrs. De-Von De-Von Green, Mrs. Fallas Olofson and Mrs. Clyde Higbee. Mrs. Ivan Orton was hostess to the ladies of her club Tuesday evening at a social followed with a luncheon served to Mrs. Reed Roberts, Mrs. Newel Wasden, Mrs. Reed Bradshaw, Mis. Wallace Osborne, Os-borne, Mrs. Carl Harrison, Mrs. C. L. Chatterley, Mrs. Loran Hirschi and Mrs. LaVell Chamberlain. Mrs. Harry Rhodes set the xcf-ne Saturday evening for a din-tvr din-tvr party to honor Mr. Rhodes ion his birthday. Places were set for Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humph-iciies Humph-iciies and Mr. and Mrs. Vandcr Nelson. |
