Show En Avante Members Hear Review OfTulallah Bankhead I The En Avante club held its first meeting for February at the home of Mrs. Sherwin Bradshaw on Feb. 3. The lesson was given by Mrs. Reed Bradshaw who reviewed re-viewed the currently popular autobiography au-tobiography of Ta'lullah Bank-head. Bank-head. Fifteen members and one guest, Mrs. Elmer Wood, were present to enjoy the review. On Feb. 17, the club met at the home of Mrs. Elloyd March -ant. Mrs. Roe Palmer gave the lesson. Her subject was "Pioneers "Pio-neers of the Ozarks". Mrs. Palmer Pal-mer presented pictures and char acter sketches by the noted Ozark artist, L. L. Broadfoot. Mrs. Clyde Higbee and son Roger, and Carl Palmer played a medley of southern tunes on accordion and violins. Mrs. Twain Tippetts and Mrs. W'endell Jones were guests at the meeting. |
