Show Iron County Hospital Board Makes Policy Changes Two basic changes in policy for tin; Iron County hospital were made at a meeting of the board of directors and the doctors of Cedar City held last week. First change in policy was in the time of admittance of patients pa-tients who are entering the hospital hos-pital on elective surgery. According Accord-ing to Warren Bulloch, chairman of the board, these patients must enter the hospital between the hours of 2 and -1 p. m., the day prior to their operation. In the past such patients have waited until the evening hours to enter the hospital and it has thrown a hardship on the night nursing staff to arrange the accommodations. accommoda-tions. Under this new policy patients pa-tients can be taken care of and properly processed during the regular hours of the hospital. Secondly, a new day schedule has been set with 12 noon as the governing time. In the past office personnel have left at G p. m. and out patients have had to call them back for proper processing. pro-cessing. Now out patients will leave at 12 noon or they will be charged for the next day. These two major changes have been established for the purpose of strengthening the efficiency of the hospital and to reduce unnecessary unnec-essary costs for the residents of Iron County, Bulloch emphasized.
