Show Rules, Premium List Approved For Livestock Show Rules and regulations for the 14th annual Southern Utah Livestock Live-stock Show to be held on the campus of the College of Southern South-ern Utah on Sept. 9, 10 and 11, have been finally approved with only one minor change over what has been in effect for the past several years. The change has to do with the number of animals each exhibitor exhibi-tor may entpr. The limit is set at two entries. In the case of hogs and lambs the entry may be one single and a pen of three, two pens, or two singles. In the case of fat steers the entry is limited to two individuals. The premium list also remains the same as last year with the exception that a division has been created for dairy cattle. No dairy cattle were shown last year, but the committee in charge has decided to re-open that division. Calves, yearlings, and two years or older in both heifers and bulls of any breed will be lifted. Other details of arrangements are being completed each week, with all committees working on preparations for the biggest and best show in the 11 year history of the event, according to Kumen Gardner, genoial chairman, and Darrell Matthews, association presdent. |
