Show Auto Magazine Tells Beauties Of Zion National Park In the past y ar the scenic attractions at-tractions of southern Utah have received f.n unprecedented amount of "free" publicity the kind of advertising that money cannot buv. Articles with a wide range -jf illustrations have ap-' peared as features in many nationally na-tionally read magazines, focusing focus-ing attention of the whole country coun-try on this small area of the United States. This week another and most interesting feature has appeared. It is in the July-August issue of the Lincoln -Mercury Times. The article deals solely with Zion National Na-tional Park. Written hv Laurence Critehcll, if is called "Garden in the Rock." The illustrations used with this feature, seven paintings by Gerry Ger-ry Pcirce. are unusually interesting. interest-ing. The paintings are of the I Great White Throne. The Narrows. Nar-rows. The Watchman, The Patri-I Patri-I arch. West Temnle, Temrile of 'Sinawava, and The Fulpit. All are unusually well done and very inte-esting. some of the most effective paintings we have seen of the caryon. |
